BOY! In case any of you out there are curious about my pregnancy, I am having a boy!!! We are soo thrilled and can't wait to meet him. My pregnancy so far has been wonderful and I'm enjoying (for the most part) carrying this baby. Our baby boy is healthy and busy kicking around already. I'm so excited to start working on the nursery and getting everything ready for when he arrives in September.
I will be booking jobs from now through June. Then I'm taking a break for a while... probably until late fall. But please feel free to message me and check in with me regarding my work status. If I'm feeling up to it, I may book a few jobs here and there. I don't know much about what to expect, so we'll have to just play it by ear... My weekends are already almost all booked up, but I do have some availability. If you are interested in booking a session before the summer, now would be the time to do it!
I'll continue to keep you all posted and thank you soo much for all of the encouragement and words of advice that has been passed along from all of my clients!!! I am inspired by so many of you!!!

Our baby boy at 13 weeks!

my "other baby" announcing the news
It was SO awesome being invited into Lucas' home to work with him at only 5 days old. Man, what a difference those few days young make! He slept peacefully through most of the session, except of course, when you notice him with the yankees pacifier at the end of the strip. Doesn't he look like the world's youngest sports commentator? It's like he has a whole lot to say about those Yankees. I LOVE it. And when I say he slept "peacefully", I mean peacefully. As the lullaby versions of Taylor Swift serenaded us as we worked, we all stayed relaxed and had a beautiful session.
I had the pleasure of photographing my first set of triplets (+1). I had such a great time! Not only was this session special because there were triplets, but we also did a cake smash! Sooo fun!! These little ones were all of over the place- but everywhere I looked there was a photographic opportunity! I'm not gonna lie- I was wiped out after this shoot, but this gave me great respect for mom and dad who do this every day! We got some great shots... check them out!
One of the best parts of my job is reconnecting with babies that I met at only a few days old. Over 6 months ago, I photographed Hailey. Now I get to see her in another stage, one in which she is laughing and sitting up! It's so much fun to see her new chubby legs and to make her smile. And what a great time of the year to have a photoshoot at the duck pond! Of course, we got some Easter shots in her beautiful Easter dress and bonnet, and I just HAD to use my diaper cover with the little tail. Can't resist. Check out some of my favorites!
Baby B was the sweetest baby. He has the sweetest parents who had some great ideas for "props" including the magic hat that dad used at Magic Camp (back in the day). Love it!! I love love love when we get some unique shots that are also meaningful. Here are some of my favorites from our session. Thanks to baby B's mommy for all of her pregnancy advice and tips! I have the best job ever and LOVE talking to new mommie
I love photographing Baptisms. It's such a special day in a child's life. I love the anticipation of getting the baby dressed and all of the hands that it takes to adorn the baby in all of the essential accessories. I love watching the parents, grandparents, and sometimes even great grandparents as they present their little one for Baptism. I love traditions and seeing the gowns that have been passed down generation through generation.
John's Baptism was one like this. So much anticipation. So much love. So much tradition.
Taylor. What a beautiful little girl! I swear, her lips are naturally that pink- they were not color enhanced at all. She is just so perfect. And I am always so blessed when I see how loved these new babies are, but Taylor's family is beyond enthralled with their new addition. It was hard to select favorites from this shoot, but some of them are of Taylor's grandmother and GREATgrandmother and grandfather and proud Aunt. And how can I forget Taylor's proud puppy?? I am IN LOVE with this shot of Taylor nuzzled in her dog. Oh, and I got a smile :) Ahh, SUCH a great photo session!
