Brayden's mom booked me after I took a photo of her bun. She was in a wedding that I attending and I took a photo of her hair. It looked so pretty. She told me that she had to find out who took that photo.. which led her to me.
Well, thank God I took that photo of her bun, or I would have never had the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous little boy. Oh my goodness... mom is going to have SUCH a hard time choosing favorites from our session. I know I did!
I have never seen a child smash a cake as well as Brayden did. He literally smashed it to the ground and had such a good time doing it. It was great. And I continued to get one great photograph after the next.
TWINS! They seriously amaze me. Especially boy/girl twins. Especially twins as cute as Reagan & Teddy. These two were JUST in their momma's belly! Crazy!!! Anyways, I love it. It was a pleasure working with this family. Check out some of my favorites:
Brielle's mom contacted me from Colorado and asked if she could book me for a session while she was visiting New York. Of course I had to squeeze her in! Garden sessions are my favorite! I still believe that the child should be the main subject in any image. I don't like when the person I photograph gets lost in a background. But a garden provides such beautiful colors and shapes. I have so much fun editing outdoor images, and I feel that I can really get creative and be "me".
Check out some of my favorites from my session with Brielle.
Round2. Several of my clients are on their second baby. I love putting the baby in the same bucket as their older sibling was in at that age. I love photographing the children together. Kai and Mason are two of the most adorable little boys I've ever seen! It was so wonderful working with them. I'm obsessed with Mason's lips and the peach fuzz and his beautiful features....Here are some of my favorites from our session!
I just love photographing first communions. I love the age group- it's my favorite. (Ok, if you just read my post below, you are probably confused or calling me a liar). But I used to teach this age group and I just love working with elementary school kids! (I think it's safe to say that I just really love working with people of all ages... newborn ->some adults, haha).
Maria is just so beautiful and it was great working with her! Check out these photos from her special day!
When I met my husband, he told me that he worked with teenagers. Being an elementary school teacher at the time, I thought... "That's nice". But I was always afraid of teenagers. I knew that I could never ever work with them.
Fast forward seven years later, I now volunteer for him and cannot get enough of these High School kids! First of all... they are SO FUN Like so much more fun than people my age. I laugh SO HARD when I am with them and seriously would love to hang out with them every night (we practically do!)
Anyways... Ali's mom heard that I was a photographer and called me in a panic just days before her daughter's Sweet 16. She hadn't booked a photographer and knew she needed to capture her daughter in her dress and all made up on her special night! Every part of me was screaming "no!" I am SO BOOKED UP and I had a huge event the night before. But I couldn't say no. (That's a serious problem that I have!) and I knew that it would be so much fun to work with a sixteen year old.
Ali is amazing! I wish I had more time with her! Even though we had just met, I felt like we've always knew each other. Anyways... check out some of my favorite images from our mini session together. Thank you Ali, for choosing me to be your photographer! You are gorgeous!!!

Nicholas is one of the tiniest, cutest, peanuts I've ever photographed. And what a great session we had!! I just love the sibling love in these photos!! Isabella, age 2, and I got acquainted over Dora, and then she let me start photographing her. I just love the expression on this little girl's face! There is just so much joy and knowing that I've captured the joy in this family, makes ME so happy! Take a look!
