An extended family session is about getting the whole gang together. Yes, we get the group shot photos that can be printed for the walls. But it's more than that. It's still about connection.
In this session, there were many moments that stood out to me: the way that the little granddaughter looked deeply into her grandfathers soul (no joke- I have a TON of photos of her just staring into his eyes!), the way the oldest grandchild held both the hands of his own mommy and his aunt (also known as his second mommy when he was a baby)... theres just so many special moments captured here. It's more than just a group shot.
Keep this in mind as the holiday season is approaching. This was a gift for grandma. I know that she (along with the rest of the family) will cherish these images forever!
