...to brave the snow and 20° weather with me 🤍 This mama-to-be was seriously fearless. After a big snowstorm, we didn’t even make it through the whole park and ended up sticking close to the parking lot—but honestly, it didn’t matter at all. Moments like this stretch me and remind me that magic can happen anywhere. Add in a perfect winter sunset, and it was pure magic. I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby girl, arriving any day now ✨ . . . ...bringing my cousins’ vision to life for this session. They came to me with a “Christmas Story”inspired idea, and I couldn’t resist tracking down the perfect vintage ’70s backdrop to match the vibe. Seeing it all come together was so much fun, and I’m honestly obsessed with the final result.
If you ever have an idea—big or small—bring it to me. I’d love to help you turn it into something real and meaningful. Sweet, whimsical, and full of personality. But this session didn’t stop there. We also slowed things down and captured updated family photos indoors—cozy moments on the floor, stories being read from books mom loved as a little girl, and the kind of everyday magic that happens when you’re just being together. Winter is honestly one of my favorite times to book a lifestyle session. Families get to stay warm and cozy inside while I document real life as it unfolds. And if you’re up for it, we can bundle up, head outside, play in the snow, go for a walk, or do whatever it is your family loves doing in this season of life. These are the moments that become memories—the ones you’ll want to look back on and remember exactly how this chapter felt. ...it’s the perfect time to bring up the idea of an extended family session. Because honestly… these get-togethers don’t happen nearly enough. This sweet family is the perfect example. We met at a little park just down the street from their home, celebrated a brand new baby, captured the sweetest sisters, and even got photos with family who were in from out of town. Simple, easy, and so worth it. So when everyone’s gathered around the table, go ahead and float the idea. You’ll never regret having these moments documented It’s about the way she grabbed her mama’s fingers while drinking her bottle… her tiny hand holding on so tight that her own fingers turned white. These are the moments I want you to remember — the ones that capture your baby exactly as they are right now. It means so much to be part of this family’s tradition. If you’re ready to make fall photos your tradition too, I’d love to be there for it. You might not be even thinking about it but now is the time to book Christmas card photos and start to plan your holiday gift giving. Stuck on ideas for grandparents? Get the family together and consider a family photo shoot! Gift certificates available! ...feel stressful or staged. One of the options I offer is a lifestyle, in-home session. This is relaxed, unposed, and completely centered around your baby. We work at your baby’s pace, capturing the beauty of your nursery, those tiny details, and the quiet moments that mean the most. ...we had all of those 80 degree days in the fall? I totally took advantage… Still coming at you with beach minis! Anyone want to get cozy and meet at the beach??? |
