Gift a session to your loved ones this Christmas. Reach out for a gift certificate that can be mailed today! ...you schedule an extended family photo shoot! This was an hour outside in Grandpa's yard, in front of his favorite tree and their childhood home. If breaks were needed, they went inside to warm up. Super easy! I still have some availability Christmas week! Let me capture everybody together in the same place! Theres no better time than now! ...has been involved in our photoshoots since the kids were all born. So when he wasn't feeling well, we changed our plan from meeting in the park, to going to the house so he can be in the session as well. It's a decision that I dont think we will ever regret! That's what this session was. A session with me is fully customizable. This hour was spent capturing some 6 month "studio shots" (and of course we had to add big sister! I recreated the same photo that I did of her in the flower bonnet when SHE was 6 months old... See last photo). We also got some natural and simple outdoor shots. Leave "the stuff" in the car. Don't plan to carry bags with a hairbrush, an extra sweater, a water bottle, your wallet, etc. And here's why: I love capturing the "in between" shots. As we are moving from one place to another, I love to still shoot. If you are carrying all the stuff, you often miss out on all of those shots. There were a lot of cute "in between moments" captured during this shoot... Take a look! Start with the posed stuff: Family, smiling at the camera. Individual portraits of each child. All the kids together, posed and smiling at the camera. Mom with each child. Dad with each child. Mom will all three children. Dad with all three children. Repeat some of the above in a different location. Don't forget a shot of just mom & dad. All of the above should take place in 25 minutes MAX. And then... PLAY! Capture the family playing together, doing "what they do". It is important to hire a photographer that has a good workflow and knows how to keep things moving! It is the KEY to a successful photoshoot! What a spectacular season it's been!! I cant wait to share with you what I've been working on! I met her when she was a few days old and have been photographing her every year since...11/11/2024 I remember when she was two years old and her dad twirled her and threw her in the air at the park. I remember a few years later when she clung to her mom on that really cold fall evening. I remember when she first got her dog. It is SO SPECIAL for ME to watch these natural moments through my lens as your children grow up. It is connection I strive for anyway!!! I would much rather a gallery of images that show this connection, rather than a child that does not want to be close to their family members! It is a beautiful memory to have and look back on one day! |
