When I met this family at one of my favorite spots, we realized that there was a big event going on that was not ideal for a family photo session. Disappointed, I suggested that we try a new spot that I had just learned of, but had never photographed there before. I was SOO happy with how it all turned out! I got some beautiful photos of a beautiful family that was so great to work with. And... I think I found a new favorite spot! Check it out! We shared this Easter with our adorable nieces & nephews and of course I had many photo opps. Between the Easter egg hunt on the front lawn and cupcakes with grandma, I was able to get some great shots of my favorite little ones!! (And as you'll see, my puppy participates in the events too!- He's one of the family, known as cousin Kona). You will see some photos taken at beautiful Clark Garden (our favorite garden because it's where we got married!!) I love these little guys soo much!! xoxo Ahhh! Spring is in the air! The weather here in NY can't seem to make up her mind. Sandwiched between days of snow and the "wintery mix" were beautiful 70 degree days! Any opportunity that I can take photos outside in perfect light and I'm there! Thank God Jamisyn & Savannah's mom and I were on the same page. With a change of plans, we met at one of my favorite go-to spots and got some beautiful spring photos of this gorgeous family! Now if only the temperature would rise up another 40 degrees again... Baby number two. Tracy is a trooper. You may not know from looking through these photos that it was quite chilly out. She braved it, for sure! We walked through trails, down to the beach, up and down hills, had several outfit changes, and Tracy "carried" (literally) on. A beautiful family, awaiting no.2. Can't wait to meet him/her at our newborn session! what a great photo session!! These kids just love their grandparents so much! I got some great smiles from the little ones, ya know how?!? By being called "stinky feet" a thousand times! They just cracked themselves up calling me "stinky feet". So cute. I didn't mind at all- look at these shots! Savannah modeled beautifully during our photoshoot. Mom had beautiful fabrics, ideas, and props for our session. I especially loved all of Savannah's headbands and hats! She's a stylish one, that baby! Here are some highlights... (click on each to enlarge)
Spencer arrived for his photoshoot and was ready to have some fun! He's just a "boy" and was just a blast to photograph. When dad threw him around, it made for some great pics! As I find myself browsing though the photographs from this session, I keep finding that I have a big smile on my face- Spencer's smile is definitely contagious! (click on each photo to enlarge).
Gorgeous Malia. She is the happiest baby. Seriously- she doesn't stop smiling, especially when she looks at her daddy. Here are a few of my favorites from our photo session.
